Spormex
Overview
Grupo Spormex has spent over 30 years building exhibitions, fairs, stands, tents, and events for companies across the world, covering everything from design and carpentry to production and photography. Running events at that scale means every resource, from staff to materials to vehicles, has to be exactly where it's needed, exactly when it's needed.
Codepoint built a web app to bring that resource management under control, replacing a mix of digital and paper documentation that made communication difficult and left stock levels easy to lose track of.
Key capabilities
- Tracks materials and stock in real time, sending alerts before an item runs out
- Flags staff availability automatically, catching double bookings or an employee scheduled while on vacation
- Colour codes team members by experience, helping admins build balanced teams for each event
- Separates set up, event, and dismantling dates, so materials can be reused across a single event instead of sitting idle
- Generates a PDF checklist for each event, giving organizers one document with everything they need on site
Two types of users, commercial staff and administrators, get exactly the tools their role requires, with search and filtering built to keep a heavy amount of information fast to find. The result is a system built for planning and execution without the last minute surprises event production usually runs on.
